City Council Corporate Achievements

Grande Prairie City Council is helping to make Grande Prairie "The Greatest Place to Be". Our Mission is to provide, support, or facilitate municipal services that meet community needs and enhance the quality of life for all. Throughout the year, City Council has focused on six major areas in achieving this mission. These areas included reinforcing our role as a Leading Northwestern Centre, ensuring Fiscal Responsibility, endeavouring to become an Internationally Connected Community, continuing to provide a Safe Community, encouraging a Caring and Active Community, and promoting Pride in a Beautiful Northern City.
