What are we voting for?
If you are an eligible voter in the City of Grande Prairie, you will be voting for:
Public School electors will vote on a Public School District Tax Levy Plebiscite (Question)

When will the Advance Votes be Held?
Advanced votes will be held in the Catholic Education Centre Boardroom Lobby between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on:
- October 5 (Friday)
- October 6 (Saturday)
- October 12 (Friday)
- October 13 (Saturday)
The address of the Catholic Education Centre is 10106 - 99 Avenue.

You can vote in the General Election if you:
-
are at least 18 years old;
-
are a Canadian citizen;
-
have resided in Alberta for the past six months (April 15, 2007);
-
live in the City of Grande Prairie on Election Day; and
-
have not already voted in this election.

Election Day is on Monday, October 15, 2007.
Voting is open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

How do we know where to Vote?
You vote at the Voting Station for the Voting Subdivision in which you live on Election Day.
To figure out which voting subdivision you are in, you can refer to maps published:
If you are still not sure of where you vote, you can also call City Hall at 538-0300 on or before Election day.
