This section includes information about municipal elections conducted by the City of Grande Prairie.

Every three years the City of Grande Prairie holds elections for the positions of Mayor and Alderman. Additionally, School Board Trustees from the Grande Prairie Roman Catholic Separate School Board and Grande Prairie Public School Board are elected on the same ballot.
