How do I file an insurance claim against the City?
Submit a letter to the City, outlining the circumstances, and include at least two estimates for repairs to damages (or receipts if repairs have been completed) to the City Clerk's Department. The claim will be investigated and you will be advised in writing of the City's decision. For further information, you can contact Assistant City Clerk via e-mail or at (780) 538-0338.

Q:

The City is not divided into wards or districts; Aldermen are elected to serve the entire City. You may want to contact an Alderman who sits on Committee to which your concern could be referred.

Q:
What do I do if I want to speak to Council or a Committee?
If a person wishes to speak to Council or a Committee on any matter which a hearing is not required, that person should notify Committee Assistant and state the reason for the request to speak. The Committee Assistant can be contacted via e-mail or by phone at 538-0441.
After a request is received, the matter will be placed on the Council or appropriate Committee agenda under the delegation portion.
Delegations are requested to limit the number of spokes persons to two, and to keep presentation within 5-10 minutes. The speakers should be prepared to answer questions from Council or Committee members following their presentation.
