Crystal Centre Rules & Regulations
To assist our patrons/guests enjoyment of each event, and to ensure their safety, well being, comfort and convenience, the following regulations are in effect at the Crystal Centre:
ITEMS YOU MAY NOT BRING INTO THE VENUE:
§ Bottles, Cans, Coolers, Liquid containers, Alcoholic beverages
§ Illegal Substances, Fireworks, Laser Pointers
§ Audio/Video Recording Equipment, Cameras*, Camera Bags
§ Large Banners, Signs or Sticks**
§ “Mechanically Enhanced” Sound Devices & Aerosol Cans
§ Chains, Studded Bracelets, Weapons of any type
§ Backpacks, Oversized Bags
§ Infant Carriers, Car Seats, Strollers, Etc
§ Pets
All guests entering the venue are subject to search as permissible by law. Refusal will be grounds to prohibit admission.
All guests/patrons appearing intoxicated will be denied access into the venue.
Below are examples of cameras. For select events, such as hockey, some types of cameras are allowed. These include instant, point-and-shoot 35 mm cameras. Any camera with a detachable lens is not allowed at any event in the building.
*Please note- approved cameras are only allowed at select events. If you are unsure, please call the Crystal Centre at (780) 538 0334 or be prepared to return your camera to your car.
**Signs and/or banners shall be allowed within the Venue as long as they fall within the following guidelines:
1. The sign/banner does not impair the view of any guest in the Venue, or block any existing signage or vents.
2. Information contained on the sign/banner is not of the nature that could be construed as vulgar, offensive, graphic or
outside of what the community standard would consider in "good taste".
3. The hanging of signs/banners does not damage Venue walls, paint, railings, glass, etc.
Please note - some events prohibit banners, signs and sticks of any type, such as concerts, selected family events and other sanctioned events
TICKETS AND MERCHANDISE may not be sold or resold on Crystal Centre property or areas adjacent to Crystal Centre.
PROPER BEHAVIOR is expected from all of our guests. Foul language, abusive/rowdy behavior and physical confrontation will not be tolerated at the Crystal Centre and will be cause for ejection and/or arrest. We allow all of our guests to cheer any way they would like, granted they comply with the above. Guests may not use obscene language or gestures of any kind, and can not block the game view from or cause harm to any of our guests.
Notify the nearest Usher or Event Safety Representative immediately if actions of this type or other offensives occur near you.
SIT ONLY IN YOUR ASSIGNED SEAT so as not to inconvenience other guests. Seating locations within the Venue are reserved for guests holding valid admission tickets.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT ALCOHOL IS NOT PERMITTED IN LOWER SECTION A during all Grande Prairie Storm hockey games.
KEEP AISLES CLEAR AT ALL TIMES; emergency situations require that stairways be kept clear. Guests sitting or standing in the aisles or walkways jeopardize the safety of others and is prohibited. Entering the playing field, floor or restricted areas are prohibited.
ALL GUESTS ENTERING THE VENUE who are 24 months of age or older must have a valid event ticket to gain admission. Some events require everyone to have a ticket, regardless of age.
RETAIN TICKET STUBS to allow ushers to verify proper seat location.
SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED in any area inside of the Venue. Smoking areas are available outside the Venue. Guests wishing to smoke are directed to the exits, located in the west & east entrances of the Lobby and must be a minimum of 5 (five) metres from the doorways/entrances or vents.
LOITERING AND SOLICITING PROHIBITED; the soliciting of rides, loitering, selling of goods and the soliciting of funds or services including the distribution of flyers, or holding of signage not in relationship to the event in which a valid ticket has been purchased is prohibited in any area of Crystal Centre’s property, including the immediate vicinity thereof is prohibited.
TRESPASSING PROHIBITED on the Crystal Centre property. Only invited guests, those doing business with the Crystal Centre and/or those holding valid event tickets may enter onto and remain on the property for the purpose of conducting said business with the Crystal Centre and/or attending a scheduled event.
PARKING LOTS AND ROADWAYS are to be used in a safe manner; ball playing/rollerblading in the parking lots and roadways is a safety hazard and is not permitted. Circulation between lots is prohibited. Illegal parking outside on area roadways, medians, grass malls, and car lanes is prohibited. Violators may be ticketed by local police and/or towed at the owner's expense.
DAMAGING OF SHRUBS OR PLANTS AND DEFACEMENT OF THE FACILITIES No person shall cut, mutilate, or remove any trees, shrubs, flowers, plants, topsoil, or sod located upon the property unless authorized by management. Injury, defacement, removal, or destruction of the surface of the venue or its structures, appurtenances, recreational facilities, or property is prohibited.
ADDITIONAL RULES AND REGULATIONS may be posted on Crystal Centre property or may be communicated through Venue Staff. Violation of Venue policies or provincial/local laws may result in ejection, fines, and/or prosecution, and violators may be barred from future events at the Crystal Centre.
Emergency Evacuation Public Address Announcement:-played before each event as required.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, for your safety we ask that upon your arrival at the Crystal Centre that you to take a moment to locate the nearest exit and alternate exit from your seating section.
The Crystal Centre is equipped with Emergency Generator Power, which will be activated automatically in the event of a blackout.
All Exit Signs are illuminated in RED, so that our guests can easily identify them.

ACCESSIBILITY
Assistive Listening Devices: Headsets and receivers for guests with hearing impairment are available for sign out at the Box Office. A credit card along with valid government issued photo identification are required as a security deposit.*
