Business Licences

As all business licences are governed by the Business Licence Bylaw, the appointed Licence Inspectors of Grande Prairie Enforcement Services are responsible for addressing applications, suspensions, and other matters related to such licences.

Not all businesses require a licence to operate - for a list of businesses covered, the fees involved, and other basic information on Business Licences, please see our Business Licence Process and Fees page.

Each of the following business types has additional requirements, as their individual webpages describe:

  • Taxis
  • Chauffers
  • Escorts

  • Please note that these pages contain summations of key elements of the Business Licence Bylaw, and are not intended to represent the entirety of the document. For further information, the City Bylaws list contains a complete copy of the Business Licence Bylaw.
