REGISTER YOUR BIKES WITH US:
Dear Residents of the City of Grande Prairie:
- Due to the large volume of lost, stolen and found bikes in the past several years, the Enforcement Services Department has set up a bike registration data base. We have had to sell all our unclaimed bikes at the annual City Bike Auction, held every spring. We would like to offer you the service of registering your family's bikes in the unfortunate circumstance that they may go missing. This process will assist us in returning more bikes to their rightful owners. This service is free of charge and would possibly prompt the safe return of your missing or stolen bikes.
- We can't stress enough the importance of having the serial number of any and all bikes you may have at your residence, as this number is the "tell all" to match with the owners.
- If you are interested in registering your family's bikes, you can pick up a registration form from the RCMP at 10202 99 Street or send the information (See below for example) to Grande Prairie Enforcement Services. You may fax the information to (780) 830 - 5705. Or drop it off at 10202 99 Street or reach us by mail at: P.O. Bag 4000 Grande Prairie, Alberta T8V 6V3. Or email to: gpes@cityofgp.com Please notify us of any changes: address, number of bikes or status of ownership.
