3. GIS Interactive Maps

Two services are available, each within muniportal.ca.

Requirements for Access:  To view our GIS On-line Viewer, you must:

  • use a Windows Operating System
  • use a Windows Explorer browser,
  • have the FREE Mapguide plug-in installed.

A. Free GIS Mapping Service

  • To access the Free GIS Viewer please follow the steps below:
    1. First, download and install the Mapguide Browser Plug-In, click here to begin the installation process.
    2. Once you have successfulling installed the plug-in, click here to access the GIS Viewer.
      (Note: Please ensure you have completed Step 1 above to install the Mapguide Browser Plug-In. You will not be able to access the map without first installing this plug-in).

B. Subscription Based GIS Mapping Service

  • Effective January 1, 2007, the subscription based GIS mapping is free of charge.  All previously secure datasets can be accessed via the Free GIS Mapping Service link provided above.
