At the City of Grande Prairie, we recognize that people have LIVES outside of work. Our work week depends on the job and ranges between 35-40 hours, in most cases with weekends off. In any case, employees are scheduled for two days off weekly except in extreme circumstances, where overtime would apply.
We offer flexibility with scheduling, have the option of a Compressed Work Week and higher than minimum vacation entitlements based on years of service.
Throw in “FUN” in the workplace, wellness events, social activities, community fundraising activities and a supportive work environment, and you won’t find too many other jobs comparable to what the City of Grande Prairie has to offer.
