Compensation

The City of
Grande Prairie offers a comprehensive compensation package, designed to meet the needs of our employees and their families. While the rates of pay for unionized employees are reached through the bargaining process, our non-union employees are governed by our compensation management process.

We are conscious of internal equity as well as changing market conditions, and both are considered when setting compensation as reflected in this diagram:
