Customer First Service
As a municipal government, our role is to provide services to the citizens of Grande Prairie that meet community needs and enhance quality of life for all.
In 1999, our Customer First Service initiative began. It was undertaken to challenge the status quo. We questioned the ways in which we had always done things, we focussed on reducing workloads, improving customer service or streamlining processes while at the same time reducing or maintaining costs.
Since this time, City of Grande Prairie employees have risen to the challenge again and again, as our innovation scrapbook demonstrates!
Customer First Service means:
- Satisfying the needs of the customer in a timely fashion
- Working with business partners, in the best interests of our customers
- Working with and supporting our coworkers to satisfy the needs of our customers in a timely fashion
