Fitness Classes

Please Note: The Leisure Centre is closed on all statutory holidays except Family Day. Different
schedules will be in effect on this holiday and on any days we have special events like swim meets.

Descriptions of the classes are below the schedule .  For registered fitness programs, check out

Attend a drop-in class with your membership or pay a day admission at the front desk. 
All drop-in classes work on a month to month basis.
If attendance drops below the required amount per class, the affected classes will be cancelled.

Class Descriptions

Athletic Boxing Mix
This class incorporates athletic and boxing type moves. A sporty, universal fitness
class that everyone can enjoy.

Bootcamp
The 10:30 am class is held in the soccer pitch. We will make you sweat in this cardio boot camp class.
The 5:25 pm class is held outside, rain or shine. We are determined to get you fit in this outdoor cardio adventure class.

Cardio Blast
Optimize your time with this full body workout. Your instructor will lead you through a fun
cardio workout with the step.

Chisel & Sculpt
We'll turn you into a lean machine.  We will mold your body into a work of art.
Using a variety of equipment, you'll go through an intense strength workout.

Cycle Circuit
Blast fat and calories with both cardio and strength gain in a fun, energetic class. This class is suitable
for all fitness levels.

Hip Hop Fusion
Get fit, funky, and flexible all in an hour! This class is 30 minutes of hip hop and 30 minutes of
fusion, pilates, and yoga.

Mix It Up Monday
This class provides strength and endurance training for all levels of fitness. Participants will
enjoy a mix of cardio components in this full fitness experience.

Spin
Spinning classes are not registered, but you will need to call The Leisure Centre to reserve
a bike as we have a limited number available. Spin classes have become very popular and
are a great way to improve areobic endurance and strength train at the same time.

Strollercise
This class is for parent and tots.  On fair weather days it's outside on the trails or on days
when the weather doesn't cooperate it's into the soccer pitch where it is nice and warm.
