Reminder About Utility Lot ("Easement") Access

Tuesday, April 01, 2008 7:00:00 AM

As a reminder during the busy summer season, residents need to apply for a "U-Lot access permit" to obtain vehicular access to the public utility lots (sometimes called "easements" or "grassed lanes") that run behind many homes in the City.

The “Grassed Lane” behind many homes in the City is called a PUBLIC UTILITY LOT and it contains utilities (water, sewer, natural gas, power, etc.) Access to PUL’s is controlled to prevent damage to the grassed area, limits vehicular travel between areas, and assures access to utility installations will not be blocked.
