Tree Removal

There are only four reasons that the CIty of Grande Prairie will consider removing a public tree:

  1. The tree is dead
  2. The tree is interfering with underground utilities or damaging hard surfaces
  3. The tree poses an immediate hazard to the public or property
  4. The tree is too large to be transplanted and must be removed to accommodate municipal infrastructure improvements.
