I want to build an addition to my home (covered deck, attached garage, sunroom, bonus room, etc) what are the required setbacks?
The minimum rear yard setback in all residential districts is 25ft (7.62m) to the rear yard.
Depending on which district you live in, the side and front yard setbacks can vary. Consult Part Nine of the Land Use Bylaw for regulations regarding your district or contact development permitting.
