Refinishing of the Amphitheatre Stage Ceiling

 

Scope of the Project:

  1. The amphitheatre stage ceiling requires refinishing.  It is composed of clear fir, tung and groove that has been finished with varnish.  This ceiling has been damaged by moisture from a roof leak which has been repaired.  
  2. The refinishing involves a process to minimize the appearance of water stains or replacement of wood, and finishing the surface with a finishing coat. 
  3. The timing of this project will need to be done with consideration for approved park use permits involving this facility.  This will be arranged with park Administration. 
  4. All work completed by the contractor will be carried out following all relevant Federal, Provincial and Municipal health and safety laws and regulations, as well as in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety. 

 

Timeline:  In order to accommodate community events and a second planned project at this site this project is required to be completed by June 12.
