The intent of this bid call is to solicit and receive formal offers to perform the following Work:
.1 Supply and install a complete security system in existing infra-structure for the new Grande Prairie Library and the Prairie Art Gallery.
.2 Bids shall be prepared and submitted and the bidding process shall be administered in accordance with these bidding requirements.
Bid documents may be obtained by Bidders from the Purchasing Department of the City of Grande Prairie on Monday, August 18, 2008.
The mandatory site meeting will be held Wednesday, Aug 27, 2008 at 12:30 PM at the Library Site Office. (North side of the new building – access from 103 Ave, west of 98 St. (the security meeting will be immediately after the construction meeting)

AWARD DETAILS:
City Council, at its meeting held November 17, 2008, awarded Tender T-36-400-08, for the Montrose Cultural Centre Security System in the amount of $259,000 excluding GST, to Delco Security, as the lowest qualified tender meeting specifications.
