Executive Assistant
- The goal of this position is to provide effective, creative and competent support to the City Manager, Corporate Leadership Team and others in the organization to ensure Grande Prairie continues to be a community that is the Greatest Place To Be.
Key Services
- Provide high level frontline customer service to internal and external customers.
- Promote the Grande Prairie area and the City of Grande Prairie corporation by providing accurate information to those enquiring about our services, facilities and our community.
- Provide support to the City Manager and other members of the CLT.
- Schedule meetings for the City Manager, CLT and the Mayor.
- Manage a variety of special events.
- Prepare and monitor the operating budget for the City Manager’s area.
- Receive and interpret incoming mail and information, highlighting and prioritizing items for the City Manager’s attention; redirect information as appropriate to members of the CLT or other departments.
- Support corporate-wide initiatives by participating on cross-functional project teams.
