Key Services
Stewardship
- Manage the City's development processes, transportation, drainage and equipment portfolios
- Develop and implement life-cycle and business plans for all public works related assets
- Promote relationships with community and regional partners
Strategic Planning
- Participate in long-term corporate planning and forecasting, developing trends that impact service delivery
- Provide relevant information on all infrastructure needs
- Create and manage master plans for the timely expansion of existing infrastructure to meet growth needs
- Create and implement appropriate policies to ensure the sustainability of the City
Leadership
- Promote City Council's focus areas
- Inspire our Corporate Vision throughout the City of Grande Prairie
- Provide direction, performance feedback and training opportunities for employees
- Consult with other departments and outside agencies on capital projects and maintenance and operational practices
- Provide access to department information related to the service areas
- Promote health, wellness and safety
