Aquatics and Wellness Multiplex
Project Information
Grande Prairie's Aquatics & Wellness Multiplex facility is under way. Located at 68 Avenue and Highway 40, this world class facility will literally change Grande Prairie forever. The CKC will host two schools, sports and recreation facilities - ALL ON ONE SITE!
Currently three facilities are built and operating: St. Joseph Catholic High School, Coca-Cola Centre (twin ice rinks) and the Gymniks Gymnastic Club. The Aquatics and Wellness Centre broke ground in November 2008 and is slated to be open in July 2011.
Barr Ryder was awarded the contract for design / architecture.
Wright Construction was awarded the contract for construction.
