Landscaped Areas includes the efforts made by municipal, corporate and private citizens in regards to creating an environment where the plants form an essential element of the whole surroundings. The overall design must be suitable for the intended use and location. Landscape treatments should include native and introduced plant species and show harmony (colour, texture, and shape) and a tasteful integration of hard surfaces and art elements. Landscape design should harmonize the competing interests of municipal, commercial and residential sectors of the community and be maintained at a high standard.
