Conversation Cafés
Neighbourhood Conversation Cafés are brainstorming sessions involving members of the Grande Prairie community, during which some of Grande Prairie's crime-related problems and possible solutions are discussed. We want to work with you on building a friendly and safe community. Our goal is to empower neighbours. You will have a chance to be heard and suggest neighbourhood solutions. Directed by the Building Neighbourhood Connections Committee and City of Grande Prairie Crime Prevention, each Conversation Café deals with topics that are specific to each neighbourhood. Please join us when we come to your neighbourhood.

In 2007 we held several neighbourhood conversation cafes throughout Grande Prairie communities including Gateway, Royal Oaks, South Patterson, Morgan's Meadow, Smith, Mission, Hillside neighbourhoods. In 2008 we held cafes in Crystal Ridge, Crystal View, Scenic Ridge, Avondale and Countryside South. We plan to continue hosting cafes throughout the city so look for one in your neighbourhood.
