Title: Corporate Administrative Assistant
Description:

Reporting to the City Manager, the Corporate Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support services to the City Manager’s Executive Assistant and Mayor’s Executive Assistant using independent judgment in completing activities with minimal supervision.  

 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

The successful candidate will have:

 

·         An Office Administration Diploma or previous experience equivalent to 3 years

·         Exceptional customer service skills

·         Organization skills and experience with planning of various projects

·         The ability to deal with senior staff and politicians in a tactful and effective way

·         Effective written and oral communication skills

·         Effective organizational and time management skills

·         The ability to cope with a wide variety of workload demands

·         Current computer and clerical skills

·         Accounting skills required for payroll, financial, budget and business applications

·         The ability to maintain confidentiality

·         The ability to work in a team atmosphere
