If you have at least 5 years experience in the Transit Industry, and are a dynamic, creative team player, then we want to talk to you! A High School Diploma is a must and a post secondary education in Business Administration or Transportation Planning would be considered an asset.
Reporting to the Transportation Services Manager, the Transit Coordinator performs a wide variety of professional, administrative, fiscal, and analytical transit related activities. This includes: contract and financial management, marketing, grant application and administration, budgeting, and overseeing the Transit Master Plan recommendations strategic priorities and policies.
The successful applicant will be expected to be an active member of the Canadian Urban Transit Association on both a Regional and National level. The candidate will have a valid driver’s license and be expected to provide a reliable vehicle for business use. Compensation will be in accordance with the City’s vehicle reimbursement policy
