The Dave Barr Community Centre has is looking for casual staff with a winning attitude to work in our concession. If you are looking to supplement your income or if you want to use this as a primary income, we have many exciting opportunities at the Dave Barr Community Centre. We have flexible shifts that can fit almost any lifestyle. We are willing to train the right person with the right attitude.
The successful applicant will have an aptitude for:
s Friendly customer service
s Operating a cash register and balancing financial transactions
s Maintaining a good working relationship with other staff members
s Safe food handling practices
The Dave Barr Community Centre is host to a variety of activities including hockey, skating, a meeting room and the Kid’s Place Playschool. The duties will include dispensing hot/cold beverages and light snacks as well as collecting drop-in fees for public skating and shinny hockey.
We are looking for people who are prepared to work in a team environment. Shifts will vary and will include evenings and weekends. Length of shifts may vary from 4 to 8 hours depending on the needs of the facility.
Smoking restrictions are in effect.
Minimum age – 16 years
