Employment Opportunity

We are seeking (3) individuals with proven leadership abilities to work with children aged 3 to 11 years in our outdoor Summer Playground Program. 

The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting the Program Instructor V (Senior Leader) in all aspects of the outdoor program, including promoting, delivering and evaluating outdoor activities for children.   

The successful candidates will have the ability to present him/herself in a positive and professional manner through tactful communication (both verbal and written) with coworkers and customers.  This self starter must be a team player with the ability to multi task as required.  We are looking for individuals who are creative, outgoing and have experience working with children in a large group recreation or sport setting. 

Pre-Requisites:

• Must have an aptitude for working with children
• A current First Aid and CPR certificate

This position is open to individuals who are between 15 and 18 years of age and who are returning to school in September. 

This is a temporary summer position, consisting of a 7 week work term.  Rate of pay is $16.34/hour.
