Listing an Event on the City of Grande Prairie Website

The general events listing can include events within the City of Grande Prairie and the immediate area open to the general public for which, with the exception of tradeshows and community-based ventures, the primary interest of participants is beyond the sale of material goods or services. 

This includes events such as festivals, concerts, athletics, community-based or charitable fundraisers, as well as community and cultural events.  It excludes events such as in-store commercial sales and specials, and private functions.

All submissions will be reviewed by City Staff before being included in the events calendar.   The City reserves the right to accept or refuse any submission.

Please note: if you have an event located at one of the City facilities listed below, please contact the facility directly regarding questions about posting your event:

• Crystal Centre
• The Leisure Centre
• Muskoseepi Park

Following the guideline above, if you have an event you would like listed, please send an e-mail to the outlining the following information to the City's Webmaster: webmaster@cityofgp.com:

• Start Date and Time
• End Date and Time
• Event Title
• Event Type (ie: Charity Fundraiser, Sports, Concert, Religous, Educational)
• Location
• Inquiry Phone number and/or e-mail address
• Contact Name/Organization, and available hours
• Event Details (who, what, why, etc)

 Incomplete submissions will not be processed.

General Events Listing
