Built through grants through the Alberta Heritage Fund in 1986, Muskoseepi Park gave Grande Prairie residents and visitors a maintained greenspace filled with amenities.
The Muskoseepi Park Pavilion is the central administration building for the park, and also provides meeting and event space, and a cafeteria. Just outside the building, there is a pond used for skating in the winter and stocked for children's fishing in the summer. There is also a playground including a spray deck and a climbing wall.
The pavillion has direct access to the Muskoseepi Park trail system, and nearby are areas for lawn bowling, horseshoes, a skateboard park, the Bear Creek Swimming Pool and the GP Museum.
