Running for Office

Those interested in running for Municipal Office in 2017 (Mayor or Councillor only) must complete and file the Application for Registration of Notice of Intent to Become a Candidate for Municipal Office.  Individuals who file their Notice of Intent to become Candidates are permitted to begin fundraising and receive donations for their campaign.

Interested candidates can access applications in person, through the Returning Officer.

Candidate Packages which include the Nomination Paper will be available in April, 2017.

Nomination Day is scheduled for Monday September 18, 2017, between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon, at City Hall, 10205 - 98 Street, in the First Floor, North Conference Room.
