Q: How do I file an insurance claim against the City?
A:

Provide a completed Statement of Damage or Injury Claim Form, and include at least two estimates for repairs to damages (or receipts if repairs have been completed) to the Legislative Services Department. The claim will be investigated and you will be notified of the City's decision. For further information, you can contact the Insurance Coordinator in Legislative Services via e-mail (sbettenson@cityofgp.com) or at 780-830-7429.

Q: How do I obtain City Promotional Material for an event my organization is hosting or that I am attending outside of the City?
A:

Contact a Citizen Contact Centre Representative via e-mail or at 780-538-0300 to discuss your promotional material requirements, ie. lapel pins, etc.

Q: How do I contact, or find out who the Councillor is for my area of the City?
A:
The City is not divided into wards or districts; Councillors are elected to serve the entire City. You may want to contact a Councillor who sits on Committee to which your concern could be referred.
Q: What is the process to hold a parade in the City?
A:

In order to hold a Parade you must complete the application for parade and route. This includes walk-a-thons; marches; horse and carriage rides. Proof of two million dollar liability insurance coverage must be provided before the application will be approved.

Depending on your needs other permits may be required. More information can be found here on the Application for Parade/Block Party page.
