Community Input Invited on New Playground Builds

The City of Grande Prairie Parks Department is seeking public opinion on the construction of two upcoming playgrounds.

Muskoseepi Park Senior Playground

The Muskoseepi Park Senior Playground, for children ages 5-12+ years old, has reached the end of its life-cycle and is being replaced this year. It was originally installed in 1998.

Residents have the opportunity to help choose the theme of the playground by completing this poll.

John McAuley Park Playground

The John McAuley Park Playground in Mission Heights is also being replaced this year. The park has been in place for 20 years and is now past its serviceable life. The existing structure is being removed and replaced with a new structure over the summer.
