The new Jr. playground project slated to be completed by the middle of July 2015 has begun with the removal of the old structure.  This new play area will be fully accessible and will feature a rubberized surface.  This new addition is the first of 2 replacements that will happen over the next 3 years.

The City of Grande Prairie, along with the project consultants and contractors, are exercising due diligence to ensure that construction of the Bear Creek Outdoor Pool meets quality standards and regulations during the last phase.

Muskoseepi Park Pond Temporarily Closed for Treatment to Eliminate Invasive Species
The Muskoseepi Park pond is temporarily closed, starting September 4, to allow Alberta Environment and Parks to treat the pond after an aquatic invasive species, goldfish, was discovered.
