Can I park my RV (recreational vehicle) on the driveway?
Q: Can I park my RV (recreational vehicle) on the driveway?
A:

From April 1st to October 31st
One large RV may be parked on a front yard driveway if there is no rear lane access as long as it is 1.5m (5 ft) from:

  • the interior edge of the sidewalk, or
  • where no sidewalk exists, from the curb.

If you have a corner lot, RVs are permitted in a side yard as long as the residential site has no rear lane.

From November 1st to March 31st
One large RV may be stored on a residential site with no rear lane as long as no portion of the RV is located 6.1m (20 ft) from:

  • the interior edge of the sidewalk, or
  • where no sidewalk exists, from the curb

The proper location of your RV is very important with respect to the safety of drivers and pedestrians.  Enforcement Services enforces these regulations throughout the year.  Penalties can range from fines to impoundment at the owner's expense.
