We provide planning and development services to residents, developers, builders, and others involved in the planning, design, and construction.

Responsible for: Administering the City of Grande Prairie's Land Use Bylaw, reviewing and deciding on all major/minor development applications and issuing development permits.
Responsible for: Maintaining, processing, and updating statutory land use plans and policies and amendments to non-statutory planning documents. This includes Intermunicipal Development Plans, Municipal Development Plans, Area Structure Plans, Outline Plans, Area Redevelopment Plans, and the Land Use Bylaw.
