The City of Grande Prairie Human Resources Team is a self-managed team and our team sponsor is the City Manager. Grande Prairie is a progressive city, known for its commitment to action, sense of excitement and foresight. Our HR Model and self-managed team concept enables us to support the goals of the organization and create a flexible culture with strong values alignment - our benchmark for providing excellence in customer service, making decisions and working together.

  • Provide leadership and support for the development and implementation of the city-wide People Strategy

The People Strategy is the organization’s broad-based, long term strategy to leverage our most valuable resource – our People! Complementing the City’s strategic plan, the People Strategy provides direction on how the City will successfully achieve its business priorities and goals through its People.
