What We Do

The Purchasing Department of the City of Grande Prairie is responsible for the procurement of materials, supplies, equipment, and services at the lowest possible cost consistent with the quality needed to provide the very best service to the public.

The primary objectives of the Purchasing Department are to obtain maximum quality, value, and service; and our goal is the promotion of fair dealings which will result in obtaining the maximum value for each dollar of expenditure.
