Request for Assessment Information

A Section 299 Request for Information is a required request form when an owner or agent is seeking confidential property information on how the assessor prepared the current assessment on that person’s property pursuant to Section 299 of the Municipal Government Act (Note: Only one owner per request is allowed).

Information in respect of a person’s property includes all documents, records, and other information in respect of that property that the assessor has in the assessor’s possession or under the assessor’s control. Also any information on key factors, components and variable of the valuation model applied in preparing the assessment of the property. Studies used to derive the assessed values or information not relating to this property will not be provided.

Request for Comparable Information

A Section 300 Request for Information is a required request form when an owner or agent is seeking an assessment summary of any property in the municipality. The summary of assessment includes information such as a description of the parcel of land and any improvements, size of the parcel of land and key factors, components and variables of the valuation model applied in preparing the assessment of the property. Studies used to derive the assessed values or information not relating to this property will not be provided.

Current Year Assessment Detail Request

A Current Year Assessment Detail Report Request is a required request form from an owner who is seeking non confidential information about a property regarding how the assessor prepared the current assessment.

If you require any information about the key factors, components, and variables of the valuation model applied in the City please ask and the assessor will provide you with a briefing explaining our valuation process. Studies used to derive the assessed values or information not relating to this property will not be provided.

School Support Declaration for Individuals

This form gives you the opportunity to declare which school, Public or Separate, you support. Your education tax dollars will then go to that school of which you have declared. This form should be used by individuals who are the property owners.

This form gives a company or corporation the opportunity to declare which school, Public or Separate, it supports. The education tax dollars will then go to that school which is declared. This form should be used for property owned by corporations and companies.
