Earth Day CelebrationED Poster

What can you expect?

This event is all about "Bats, Bees, Birds and Trees". There will be a number of local vendors that will feature interactive activities with the Earth Day theme for everyone. Expect to leave with new ideas on how to re-purpose that old jar and find a new appreciation of bees and bats! There will also be face painting from 1pm-3pm.

Bring a glass jar with a lid to create a re-purposed craft or planter.

Free family event- all ages welcome

Leave your vehicles and parking woes behind and jump on board! All day April 21st, 2018 Transit in Grande Prairie will be free. This is a great opportunity to check out Grande Prairie Transit and all it has to offer.

Earth Day was founded in 1990 as a driving force to inspire and support people across Canada to connect with nature and build resilient communities. Bringing local vendors together at an event like this makes information about environmentally friendly initiatives easily accessible. Families can come to the event and leave with a sense of what they could be doing to help their environment in their community, work or school.

This event is being co-hosted by the County of Grande Prairie No. 1
