Muskoseepi Park is a must-see in Grande Prairie!

South Bear Creek Park was originally the southernmost extension of Muskoseepi Park and opened in 1986. At this time the park consisted of the current pavilion and three eastern ball diamonds. The west ball diamonds were developed through fundraising efforts by the Labatt Slo-Pitch league when a need for expanded ball amenities was realized. The group rehabilitated the previous City of Grande Prairie landfill site after it was deemed full and opened the west diamonds in the mid 1990s. The facility was run by an outside stakeholder group until their contract ran out in 2010.
The City of Grande Prairie took over the maintenance and management of the park in November 2014. This new direction provides the city with better opportunities to support the public and user groups, reinvest in the facilities and keep pace with the expanding needs of the park.
The city is excited to continue work with the leagues, teams, clubs and associations of this great facility complex to see them grow and flourish.
