The Community Knowledge Campus (CKC) was started with a partnership being formed between the Municipality, the Public and the Catholic School Divisions.
The vision for the project was to develop a fully integrated, leading-edge education, recreation and community concept that is a model of inter-agency and public cooperation. Integrating educational and recreational opportunities to create a centre for life-long learning.
The Campus includes:
In the field area east of the campus there is a fenced area with four tennis courts/basketball, a non-regulation track around a football field and ball diamond.
The field to the West is currently where the West Turf Field, Grande Prairie's 1st artificial turf, resides for football and soccer. During Grande Prairie’s winter season, west of Eastlink Centre is the Speed Skating Oval and Multi-Use area during the spring and summer.
