The Kid’s Place Pre-K Annual Parties

Every year, we celebrate the special occasions with the children and families of our program:

GRANDPARENTS’ DAY (**NEW**)

We open our doors to host a couple of hours of activities for children and their grandparents to share together. Children show their grandparents their classroom and have the opportunity to share a special treat together. Weather permitting, the grandparents will go to the playground with the children as well. Please dress appropriately for the weather.

HALLOWEEN PARTY

Our Halloween celebration includes a full-blown costume party for the children. Staff usually put out a “treat list” for parents to bring snacks to share with the other children (no homemade goods please as per AHS regulations). Our facility is set up with “Trick & Treat” stations with a little “treat” for the children. Christmas concert

GRADUATION CEREMONY

It is always with mixed emotions that we celebrate this special occasion with our Pre-Kindergarten children. Children wear a cap and a gown and receive a certificate of participation, this makes this occasion that much more special to all families and children. If your child doesn’t usually attend school on this day, it’s ok, he/she will still be part of the ceremony as long as the parent or guardian is in the facility.

DAVE BARR'S 5TH ANNUAL KIDS FAIR

This fair is geared towards children ages 2-6, however, it is also open to all families, giving them the opportunity to spend time together at an event where they can be entertained, informed, engaged, educated and most importantly have fun. The event is open to the public from 1:00pm-3:00pm. You can read more about this event here.
