Regional Pound Closed for Cleaning and Maintenance
The Regional Pound, located at 12220 – 104 Avenue in Grande Prairie, will be closed to the public on July 4 and 5 as well as July 18 and 19 for regular cleaning and maintenance.

Tour of Alberta Kicks Off in the Grande Prairie Region
On Sept. 2, the circuit begins and ends at Eastlink Centre. Starting the event, cyclists will head east on 68 Ave., north along Resources Road, through downtown along 100 Ave., looping through Muskoseepi Park and Grande Prairie Regional College, back along 99 Ave. and returning to Eastlink Centre via Resources Road and 68 Ave.

Council Highlights - June 15
Land Use Bylaw Amendment (C-1260-40) - Secondary Suites First reading was given to Land Use Bylaw Amendment C-1260-40. The proposed Land Use Bylaw Amendment would result in several changes to the regulations for secondary suites. These include limiting the size of the secondary suite, the minimum size of the lot where a secondary suite can be constructed and the maximum number and distribution of suites in a neighbourhood.
