Transit Improves Service
Transit’s new route and revised schedule begins Monday, August 17. Adjustments have been made to Routes 1, 2, and 5 to improve efficiency and to accommodate new service areas. An entirely new Route 7 is being introduced.

Government of Canada Invests $100,000 for upgrades to the Grande Prairie Curling Centre
Today, Chris Warkentin, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Public Works and Government Services and Member of Parliament for Peace River, on behalf of the Honourable Michelle Rempel, Minister of State for Western Economic Diversification, announced support of $100,000 for upgrades to the Grande Prairie Curling Centre under the Government of Canada’s Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program.
