City Council Highlights - April 20, 2015
Property Tax Rate Decreased Council gave three readings to Bylaw C-1317 which increases 2015 property taxes 3.6%, a reduction from the initially approved rate increase of 4.2% in January. Taxes for an average home in Grande Prairie assessed at $360,600 will increase by $116 at the 3.6% municipal tax rate as opposed to $129.00 at the 4.2% increase.
