Week 2 Residential Snow Plowing Update – Friday, Feb. 20 Tomorrow, crews will be tidying up and plowing any roads that did not get finished during last Friday’s Residential Snow Plowing Service. In order to help facilitate drainage in trouble spots, crews also continue with the picking up of piles and the hauling away of snow storage in and around the City. Parking Bans Lifted Today Parking Bans on our Permanent Snow Routes have been lifted. “All Priority 1 Main Arterials (100 St, 68 Ave, Resources Roads Hwy 40-Wapiti Road) and Priority 2 Bus Routes have been cleared and all of the windrows have been picked up,” says Robert Carroll, Transportation Services Manager. Please be sure to keep vehicles off the road so crews can safely clear the roads. Work on Priority 2 Windrows Continues Crews continue with the picking up of Priority 2 Bus Route windrows and should be nearing completion of this work this week. Crews will now begin picking up piles and managing drainage issues in and around the City. RCMP Looking to Identify Cigarette Thief
RCMP are asking for the public's assistance to identify a suspect who was involved in a theft from a convenience store that occurred in January of this year.

RCMP remain on the scene continuing to investigate a serious motor vehicle collision between two semi-trucks that occurred early this afternoon on Highway 40, just south of the Wapiti River Bridge. The collision has resulted in one fatality.
