Revolution Place Enjoying Record Pace

Revolution Place is off to a quick start in 2018, with concert attendance on track for its
busiest year since 2008.

Over 30,000 visitors have attended ticketed events at Revolution Place in the first quarter of 2018.


Over 40% of Revolution Place’s concert guests have travelled from outside the city of Grande 
Prairie, substantially contributing to the economic impact on local businesses, especially in the 
downtown core.

“Revolution Place is off to a great start in 2018,” commented Revolution Place General Manager, 
Scott Clark.

“We’re looking like we’re going to have our busiest year for concerts in over a decade.The concert 
industry is showing great faith in Grande Prairie and are being rewarded by our great fans who are 
buying tickets at a record pace.The diversity of events, the re-positioning of the Bowes Event 
Centre, and the playoff success of the Grande Prairie Storm have all contributed to the venue’s 
success in 2018.”
