Grande Prairie Transit Providing Shuttle Service to Grande Prairie Stompede

The City of Grande Prairie is proud to support the Grande Prairie Stompede by providing free shuttle service to and from the Stompede grounds on May 30 to June 3, 2018.

The shuttle service will run May 30 from 4:00 9:30 p.m. and May 31, June 1, 2 and 3 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. A final bus will be leaving Evergreen at approximately 10:15 p.m. each night to accommodate the final chuckwagon event.

Buses are scheduled to leave from the Town Centre Mall transit hub on the hour for Evergreen Park and departing on the half hour from Evergreen Park to the Town Centre Mall.

Stompede Shuttle 2018

“We’re excited to offer this service to the community and help support such a major annual event in Grande Prairie. Our goal is to help make visiting the Grande Prairie Stompede more convenient and accessible for all residents and especially for families over the weekend,” says Interim Transit Manager, Steve Harvard.

The Grande Prairie Stompede is an annual event that runs May 30- June 3 and includes a parade, pancake breakfast, rodeo and chuckwagons, midway, arts and cultural expo and much more. The event is in its 41st year and features fun and excitement for all ages.
