Posted Date: 8/30/2018

Over a dozen Francophone Albertan artists are visiting the Bowes Events Centre on Thursday, September 6 for a special performance of “Nouveau Monde” Nouveau Monde Spectacle- Poster

The performance is a story on Alberta, the people who call it home, living together in community and how the liveliness and beauty of our French history, culture and heritage adds to the strength and vitality of the places we live. It is one of the largest French language productions ever hosted in Alberta.

“Nouveau Monde” or “New World” is an immersion of song, music, stories and humour in an intimate setting. The show features 12 artists including a 7-piece youth band, Les Etincelles, from Fahler. The artists have cultural and heritage roots that expand all across the world including Columbia and the Caribbean.

Tickets are available now through the Revolution Place box office or ACFA. Adult tickets are $20 and youth under the age of 18 are free,

The show is made possible by the City of Grand Prairie, the Centre de la francophonie des Amériques and Le Réseau des villes francophones et francophiles d'Amérique, in collaboration with the Regroupement artistique francophone de l'Alberta.
