If our school programs don't have what you are looking for, perhaps an Edu-Kit would be better suited to your curricular needs. Edu-Kits are designed to include information to begin a unit or bring in some fun activities and props for a lesson. Each edu-kit includes the following information and materials and costs $10 for a week.

This edu-kit will teach children about the beaver and its unique abilities and characteristics. You can teach about beaver history, characteristics, adaptive ability and then tell a story. Test the children’s knowledge of beavers by using the “Beaver Brainteasers” and “Muskoseepi Environmental Patrol Facts Sheet”. Included in the kit are:
Learn about winter and summer birds that reside in Grande Prairie. Participants will learn about bird anatomy, how to actively record information on a bird clue chart, identify bird calls, examine feathers, and identify birds by use of pictures. Included in the kit are:
This activity packed edu-kit introduces participants to astronomy and astrology and helps them locate constellations and planets. To help you teach about constellations, a flashlight and tin can constellations are included. Activities include labelling planets, finding Polaris using a compass and seeing how moon phases occur with a ball and flashlight.
Note: you will need to supply brass fasteners for the beginner’s constellation finders. They are available at most stationary stores.
This one hour program teaches children what to do if they become lost in the woods. A 20 minute video, introduces this program. Topics include the importance of keeping warm, staying in one place, signalling, foot printing, being alert, bears, shelter and food.
Designed for kids in kindergarten to grade 3, this kit is an excellent tool for teaching bike safety. It is equipped with an outline, activities and support props.
