No Dumping Please!

Dumping in U-lot

Our City greenspaces, such as parks, trails and easements, serve many purposes for the citizens of Grande Prairie.  They provide a wonderful space for outdoor activities, as well as providing utility access for many areas.  Unfortunately, they are often used as dumping grounds for everything from grass clippings and Christmas trees to cement blocks and municipal garbage.  This dumping is in direct violation of Bylaw C-1078 - Use of Public Lands (PDF, 98KB) and is subject to penalties, including fines.  Please help keep our greenspaces green by recycling, composting or sending garbage to the landfill where it belongs!
