Types of Volunteer Positions with the Grande Prairie RCMP

Grande Prairie & District Victim Services
Grande Prairie & District Victim Services is a team of trained staff who provide information, support, and referrals to persons in the Grande Prairie area who have been a victim of crime or have experienced a tragedy.

Citizens On Patrol (C.O.P's)
The C.O.P. program offers a chance for dedicated community volunteers to act as extra eyes and ears for the police, observing and reporting any possible criminal activity in the area(s) they are patrolling.

Auxiliary Constables
Auxiliary Constables are trained volunteers who assist regular members in non-dangerous situations, carrying all the powers of a peace officer while on duty.

Crime Stoppers
Crime Stoppers offers an anonymous tip line that you can call if you believe you have information related to a crime.
