Posted Date: 9/14/2017

Hughes Lake Area Structure

The City of Grande Prairie and ISL Engineering and Land Services Ltd. continue to work on the preparation of the Hughes Lake Area Structure Plan (ASP) for the land lying between the Grande Prairie Airport, and Highway 43, currently being constructed by Alberta Transportation. The ASP will provide a framework to guide future long range planning and development in the area.

Residents are invited to attend an open house (drop-in format) on:

Date:   Thursday, September 21

Time:  4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Place:
Ernie Radbourne Pavilion,
Muskoseepi Park Entrance at 102 Ave. & 102 St.
            (No RSVP Required)

This project is currently in the third and final phase. Based on previous consultation and a detailed technical evaluation, the future land use concept and road network for the area have been determined, and the draft ASP is being finalized. The City and ISL will be hosting a final round of landowner and public consultation to receive feedback on the final draft plan, prior to presentation to City Council for consideration.

More information on the project can be found at cityofgp.com/hugheslakeASP.
