Youth Council Hosting Open Mic to Launch New Brand

The City of Grande Prairie Youth Council (GPYC) is hosting a Youth Open Mic on February 21 to launch their new logo.

The free event takes place at Card’s Board Game Café and features a youth-hosted open mic, Grande Prairie trivia game, prizes and swag.

Everyone in the community is invited to attend, and young singers and musicians are especially encouraged to showcase their talent. It is a great opportunity to learn more about the GPYC and how to get involved.

About the GPYC

The GPYC is an advocacy, advisory and consulting group facilitated through the City of Grande Prairie for youth ages 13-24. The group contributes to building a society of active and engaged citizens by creating opportunities toconnect youth with the civic order of governance, local organizations and each other. GPYC meets regularly to provide input on issues and decisions effecting local young people in the community.
